DAVID SANZ (ESP)
David is the Technical Director of the Coaching School of the Real Federación Española de Tenis. Before holding this position, David was a Lecturer in Physical Activity for Disabled Populations, Racket Sports and High Performance Tennis at the Faculty of Sport Sciences at the University of Extremadura. He holds a Doctorate Degree in Physical Education and Sport as well as the highest tennis coaching certification in Spain. David has authored and edited several tennis articles and books such as: "Tennis in a wheelchair – From beginners to competition" and "Tennis in school: A teacher's manual". He has also presented papers on tennis and adapted physical activities in a number of national and international seminars. Furthermore, David is the Coordinator of the National Project of the Spanish Tennis Federation on Tennis in the school, the Coordinator of Physical Conditioning and Methodology for the Spanish Coaching School, the National Coach for the Spanish Wheelchair tennis team since 1995, and has been working as physical trainer and tennis coach with amateur and professional tennis players as well as athletes of different sports.
