This presentation will highlight some of the most useful marketing initiatives used by successful Australian tennis coaches. Emphasis will be placed on marketing programs that have made a direct impact on a coaching business. This presentation will also identify key characteristics related to the people who play or might want to play our game and the differences between these people.

Patrick is currently the Coach Education Coordinator for Tennis Australia. In this role he is responsible for managing the content and delivery of the Junior Development, Club Professional and High Performance Coaching qualifications. Prior to this role he was based in Valencia, Spain where he worked as the Assistant Research Officer for the International Tennis Federation. He was responsible for the editing and production of various Coaches Education resources such as the ITF Coaching and Sport Science Review, the ITF Coaching webpage and the ITF ‘iCoach’ webpage. He was also involved in the organisation of many ITF courses and conferences, and travelled as a coach with the ITF Under 16 International Boys Team in Europe. Patrick has a Bachelor of Applied Science (Human Movement) with Honours in Exercise Physiology.
