Abstract

In this presentation, you will see the Total Tennis Solution workflow. Learn how video analysis can be used to teach more effectively and thus help your players to improve faster. We will show how the software is being used on the court (Instant Capture and Playback technology), used to breakdown and compare a student's stroke to a top player, and then shared on Dartfish.tv.

Dartfish is used by the USTA, USPTA, ITA, IMG - Bollettieri, Vic Braden Tennis Colleges, Roddick Total Tennis, Tennis Australia, French Tennis Federation, Spanish Tennis Federation, South Africa Tennis Coaches Association, and many more.

A quick look at high speed and high definition footage of Sharapova's serve evolution, offering some ideas as to why her new abbreviated motion may actually hurt her game. Then time permitting, we will take a look at why Nadal's backhand is more efficient than his forehand.
