Ignacio is an Orthopedic doctor with many years of experience in tennis and other sport at an elite level. He has been a consultant for the 2004-2007 Americas cup sailing teams, professional Spanish basketball players, professional jockeys as well as a doctor at the Barcelona Olympics. In tennis, he has been the Chief tournament doctor at the Valencia Open ATP event and the Madrid Masters ATP tournament. He has also functioned as a doctor at the Spanish Davis Cup events both at home and away.
